Waiting, waiting, waiting. You'd think you would get used to it in adoption! We have been waiting on the translation of some legal documents in our girl's file, for about a month. We have to have all information about our girl in Spanish and English, signed by us, to submit to US immigration. Today we received word that finally the entire file was finished, except for....
one report. SO, we now wait for one report which we aren't even sure has actually been written yet. Can you please join me in praying our agency receives this report in the next few days so we can finally, FINALLY, file our I800 (The US approval request to bring our child into the US)
After we file the I800, we will wait to hear from US immigration. We should know something in a couple of weeks. (A preliminary approval) Then, in 2-4 more weeks, depending on holidays, where our papers land, etc, we will receive our official approval and be able to travel to Peru.
Our hearts long for our sweet little girl....

At one point in our journey to Emma, I was ready to fly to Peru and hand deliver the documents from one part of the SNA to another. Praying for help in your time of need.
Praying! The waiting can be hard but it is sooo worth it :) She'll be in your arms before you know it. I have always felt those last few steps feel longer than the entire process!
