Danny told them, "If you really want a horse, you should start praying for one. Horses are expensive but God can give you one!"
They began praying. One week passed by. Then there was a local advertisement for a FREE horse! I asked Danny about it. We called. The nice people actually brought the horse to our house! Wow. It's amazing what God will do when we pray and believe. He not only answers, but He delivers! (Now to enlist them praying on some other issues. LOL!)
The horse, Rose, was a rescue and has not been ridden much in about a year, we're guessing. She was broken before, obviously, because she lets us pet her, lifts her hooves for us, and the lady who gave her to us rode her a few times without her bucking. Rose just acted nervous about it. Apparently she had been left out in a field completely unattended to for at least the winter and she's just now getting used to being around people again. Danny will have to work with her before we will feel okay about the boys riding her.
For now we are petting her, bringing her carrots, and trying to gain her trust. She's beautiful!

God fulfills dreams big and small! I so love that about Him. :)
She is a very pretty horse! My uncle Harry would have loved her. He raised Appaloosas (not that she's one, but horses make me think of him) for show ponies. And he and my cousins rodeoed some, too. :)
How Awesome!! My girls still talk about the time they got to spend at your house, and about all the animals. Glad God chose to quickly answer you boys' prayers with a "Yes!"
