Adoption Update

As many of you already know, the SNA (The governing authority over Peruvian adoption) reviewed our dossier, and had one question about our homestudy. Our agency had to write a report in response to that question- it also has to "apostilled" (a legal seal required by Hague convention countries). Our agency is waiting to receive the completed report back from the Secretary of State office (where it received that seal). When they do- it will be mailed to Peru, translated, and brought back to the SNA for a final lookover. They can either approve us or ask another question about the report. Our prayers are that it will look good to them and be approved. All of the rest of our dossier is approved. There were no problems at all. That is a huge blessing. The question asked was a simple one to answer. So, now we wait to hear back about our complete approval. After the SNA recieves it- our agency expects to hear back in 2 weeks to 1 month.

We are waiting on the June Priority Adoptions list, and praying and hoping our child is on it. :) Thank you for your continued prayers.
