We have been checking off the to-do list required to update our homestudy, per USCIS's request. That included:
-State Police fingerprints and background checks done in a town a couple of hours away
-FBI fingerprints done in a different town about an hour and a half away
-Fill out several forms, several different times
-Tomorrow we go to re-do our health exams, which we found out must be within 6 months recent, according to state standards. (This is our third time.)
After we email our health reports to our social worker- she can add those results to our homestudy, and she will over night it to our agency. Our agency will add a couple of documents, and overnight all of this requested info to USCIS, where it will be reviewed. We could hear from them in 2-3 days- 2 weeks. We are praying to hear back soon. Thank you for praying with us.
