Here We Wait

We received word yesterday afternoon that CIS is reviewing our updated paperwork now. We have been praying like crazy for God to move- for our answer to come- that we'll be scheduling flights and hotels any time now.
We are met with facts at times by those who desire to protect us from a broken heart. They tell us that USCIS does tell people 'No'. That we should not look too much ahead until we hear from them.
How can we not look ahead to the completion of what we believe the Lord has led us to do? If we can't stand and believe in faith- we can't stand at all.
We are clinging to every morsel- every promise that Jesus has spoken to us throughout this journey.

What else have we been doing?

Finishing up last minute shopping for our girl, and travels...

And, Yes! We are mostly packed!
I still have to get:
- a few more things for the orphanage caregivers
- some goodies for the kids at the orphanage
- socks for all of us
- a few travel games

These, by far, have been the longest days we've faced yet. At times, all I can do is stare at scripture, or turn on praise music and CHOOSE to dwell on all of the victories we've seen.

Over and over God has reminded us that He doesn't need our proofs and numbers. He can bring the victory with 300 men just as easily as with an army as numerous as the sand on the seashore. In fact, it seems over the last 2 years, when things were impossible, that only meant we were about to witness a miracle. This isn't the first time we have been told that people with our family size and financial status rarely are approved for various things in the adoption process. It seems we are standing in another great place to see a victory!

So here we are waiting on the Lord...

Yes! You absolutely have to act in faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please God and for those who come to Him in faith have to believe He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him!!! We are standing in faith with you.
