The Last Night

This is the very last night our family will all sleep under this roof, as a family of five. The next time will be in about a month. That is when all of us will be home together, and with our daughter.

It all still seems so surreal. We are boarding a plane in Baton Rouge at 11:44am, change planes in Houston,  and will arrive in Lima at 10:30 tomorrow night.

I had mentioned earlier in the week the possibility that we might be able to stay with an amazing family in Lima. Well all fell into place, and we can! We will meet them late tomorrow night, and be able to visit with them all morning Saturday (in three gringos' combined broken Spanish -LOL). Saturday afternoon, we hope to do some sight seeing in Lima/ Miraflores. Sunday, we are going to be able to attend an English speaking church called the Union Church. It is pastored by the family whom we are staying with's son in law. This amazing family even rented a van to pick us up for service on Sunday. We will all enjoy lunch on Sunday afternoon together. :)

We just feel so surrounded, uplifted, encouraged, and cheered on by the Body of Christ. The best I can describe the feeling, is it feels like an entire net of hands holding us up in prayer. Thank you. Thank you to everyone who has prayed us through. We could never say thank you enough for the generosity we have seen and experienced.

Thank you.

Tomorrow morning, the adventure begins!!

Soooooooo excited! Praying that all goes well. From getting loaded up and heading to Baton Rouge, to the plane trip with 3 little boys, to all the foreign adventures, to meeting your daughter and getting acquainted, to Camila's plane ride to her new home, and to everyone getting back home, together, as a brand new family of "6"! We love y'all so much! After this very long pregnancy, labor will be started in the morning. And delivery of your baby girl will be soon! Congratulations!

Dear Lord,
