Christmas at the Reed's

I LOVE Christmas. Every year it get's more exciting, and fun with the boys. That's no surprise, since we've gained another "blessing" (aka-kid) about every other year. There could be nothing sweeter than being able to share the joy of Jesus coming to the earth, with your kids, family, and friends. I love driving around town looking at all of the lights, and in Mrs. Betty's words, (my MIL), "Knowing that all of those decorations are up all because of Jesus". Even if some people are worshiping tradition rather than the King of Kings, none of it would be if it weren't for Him.
In our family, we celebrate with the Reed side of the family on Christmas Eve. We eat all sorts of mexican food including delicious quesidillas made by Aunt Beth. We also have sweet treats and Birthday cake. Then, we all sit in the big hall and sing christmas carols, Mr. Paul tells the Christmas story, and then we exchange gifts. It is so much fun, and probably my favorite tradition of all.
We all finally go home somewhere around 1:00am and get in the bed. Danny always get's so annoyed with me because we usually come home with sacks of gifts, and I like to put them all in their place before I go to bed. :>) hehe
The next morning we have Christmas with the boys. Usually Aunt Beth and Uncle Beaux, and Mrs. Betty (Grandmama) and Mr. Paul (Grandaddy) come by to see what the boys got. After that, we go out to Foules to exchange gifts with my Dad (Pa-Paw), step mom (Lee Lee), and brother and sister (Grubby and Dude). THEN, we go to my MeeMee and Pa-Pa's house and eat Christmas dinner, and hang out, play games, and visit all evening.
This yr, the following day my Mom (grandmother), and step dad (Pa-Brian) are all coming to celebrate Christmas with us. It is going to be busy- but I really like all of the hustle and bustle. It is my favorite time of the yr.
